I like the way the snake is above the background and casting a shadow.

A very good picture

Thanks. She was a pain taking this picture - I dangled her over the backdrop. XD

You're welcome to pets. Ball pythons don't enjoy them, per se, but they'll tolerate them, and education about exotics like this is very important. Therefore, she puts up with a lot of my prodding. :dummy:

Thanks!

She's a basic morph ball python, and my baby. She's a bit underweight in this photo, but she was a rescue and she's putting her wight back on fast! She's curled up in her tank right next to me as we speak, digesting.

Awww!!! So good of you to rescue her! Thanks so much for being such a kind person! I have an 11 year old iguana, I think I told you. I had a younger male iguana but I was too unstable to take care of him, so I gave him to a herpetology society.

Aw, thanks. Also, iguanas are awesome (one of my profile pictures is me holding an iguana, one of the many I rescued from my terrer's jaws). Always wanted one, but never really had the room for anything I would want to do with one (i.e., bird flight cage run with more than one iguana).

There are a couple of herps at the center where I work, I imagine your little guy must be in great hands.

Yeah. We named him Little guy, too. I just couldn't do it. I felt like a horrible person because I just couldn't raise him. I had him for about 6 months. I tried, but I wasn't at the capacity but it's best to know instead of keep on trying and possibly risk death or injury to the animal.

Of course, and you totally did the right thing. :la:

You found him a good home, that's all that matters.
